These are challenging times in which we live and it is in the details of life that spiritual beauty is revealed, sustained and nurtured. I think of Angel images as messengers of faith and hope, as symbols of our inner need for spiritual growth and personal expression.

Through the years many people have shared the reason behind their Angel purchases. For some the Angel represented a positive image on which to focus, for others a silent message of hope and renewal, as well as comfort and solace in times of loss. It is this kind of encounter that reminds me there is universal appeal to these mystical spirits and art has its own significance in conveying this message.

The Angel prints have been on exhibit at several hospitals in the Chicago area. A hospice nurse chose to display many of the Angel images so that her patients could view them during their preparation for passing on. She expressed that, for some patients, the Angel images symbolized transition.

Art is such a powerful endowment. A close friend to our nation's President and First Lady, reflected their concern and support, by presenting them with two Angels from the series: Healing Spirit and Guardian Angel.

I am grateful this body of work has had such a positive response. The many stories people have shared have been touching. I often feel that these people are my Angels guiding and encouraging me to continue my work.
